On the 10th of October 2013 Sybrin Systems announced that it had joined the EOH group. Whilst the buyout was for 100% equity in the company, clients can rest assured that Sybrin will continue to run as before, striving to serve our clients as best we can. Our company processes as well as our strategy will, for the foreseeable future, remain unchanged.
News of the buyout comes after many months of negotiations and the decision to sell to EOH was strongly influenced by our shared organisational ethos. Clients can look forward to benefits such as faster turnaround times and access to more resources, both in development and support.
Additionally, Sybrin now has access to the wealth of ICT resources and contacts provided by EOH helping us better tailor our solutions to each and every client.
EOH is the largest publicly traded ICT organisation in South Africa with over 6500 employees. EOH maintains an exceptional employment equity rating whilst also being the most active South African ICT company in the area of social development. Ten percent of their staff complement comprises individuals who have been employed through social development and learnership programmes.
Sybrin has entered a brand new phase in its quest to become the leading payments solutions provider in Africa and we look forward to sharing this journey with EOH.
